What’s included in the Las Vegas Getaway packages?
The Las Vegas Getaway packages include round-trip air transportation, hotel accommodations for five-nights, meals and transfers between the airport and hotel.

How many meal coupons are provided?
For our 5-night packages, 5 breakfast, 5 lunch, 4 dinner and 1 specialty coupon is included. Meal coupons may be redeemed for the daily specials at participating restaurants at Boyd’s downtown hotels and casinos. The specialty coupon may be redeemed for a prime rib or buffet dinner at participating restaurants subject to terms on the specialty coupon.

Which hotels are included in your Las Vegas Getaway packages?
At the present time, our Las Vegas Getaway packages include hotel accommodations at the California Hotel. In the very near future, we intend to add the Fremont Hotel and Main Street Station as options.

Are we able to select our seats on the airplane?
Most departures will have seat selection available at the time of booking.

How do we upgrade to Extra Comfort class of service?
If you desire Extra Comfort Seating you should make us aware of your request, however, we will not be able to assist you until 21 days prior to departure when we finalize your group. Once that happens, we will contact you and advise you how to reserve, book, and pay for your Extra Comfort seats.

How do I make a reservation for your Las Vegas Getaway packages?
To make a reservation, you may book your package on our website or contact Vacations Hawaii by phone at 808-591-4777 or 808-591-4700. You may also elect to visit us in person (appointment needed) or you may book by contacting your favorite travel agent.

What is your payment policy?
If you are booking more than 30 days prior to your departure date, payment is due within seven (7) days after your reservation is made. For bookings 30 days or less before departure or for First Class, you will be given your payment due date at the time your reservation is made. Payment may be made on our website or in person at Vacations-Hawaii’s office (appointment required) or if paying by credit card, complete the credit card authorization form and mail it to Vacations-Hawaii. If the reservation is not booked on our website, a credit card authorization form will be mailed to you along with your reservation confirmation on the day your reservation is made. If payment is not received by Vacations-Hawaii by the date your payment is due, your reservation will be cancelled.

Is optional trip cancellation insurance offered?
Optional trip cancellation insurance is offered and provided by American International Group’s (AIG) Travel Guard. Premiums are based on the age of the participant and the date of their travel which affects the length of protection. Vacations-Hawaii will be able to quote you the cost of the insurance at the time you book your Las Vegas Getaway package. You should be aware that the insurance being offered may require documentation from a physician verifying the illness and reason for the cancellation. (Insurance will not cover you if you cancel for fear of contracting Covid or any other condition.)

Can the insurance be purchased after I make my reservation?
Yes, insurance can be purchased up until the trip departure date, however the pre-existing condition waiver only applies if it is purchased within fourteen days of the final payment.

What is your cancellation policy?
There is no charge for cancellation of reservations before payment is made. A cancellation fee of $225 will be assessed for each cancelled unticketed reservation. Once ticketed, you will have a credit toward the purchase of another Vacations Hawaii – Hawaiian Airlines package. A $225 change fee will be assessed at the time of ticket reissuance, plus any difference in airfare will be collected. Travel on this credit must be completed within one year from the date of ticket issuance. Our agents will supply this information to you when you cancel your reservation.

Does the airline charge for luggage?
Baggage fees will be collected when you check in for your flight to Las Vegas and when you return. A fee of $30 will be assessed for the first piece of checked luggage. The fee for a second piece is $40. Additional fees will be assessed for additional pieces and/or oversized luggage. Please be aware that Hawaiian Airlines will not accept cash for luggage fees nor will they accept cash for purchases made on the aircraft.

What are the restrictions for carryon luggage?
Each ticketed guest is permitted one carry-on bag and one personal item. A personal item is a laptop bag, briefcase, purse or backpack that can fit under the seat in front of you. A carry-on bag cannot exceed 25 pounds nor can it measure more than 22 inches in length, 14 inches in width and 9 inches in height including wheels and handles. Items which exceed size or weight requirements must be checked at the check-in counter. Gate check-in is reserved for strollers, car seats and wheelchairs.
13.
Is wheelchair service provided for those in need?
Yes, we can arrange for a wheelchair to be provided to you at the airport. When you make your reservation with us, please let us know if you’ll be needing an aisle chair on the airplane or a the wheelchair solely at the airport.
