Q:What’s the difference between charter and non-charter packages?
A:Vacations Hawaii has contracted the services of Omni Air International to offer varying charter patterns to Las Vegas throughout the year. Throughout most of the year, Vacations Hawaii offers five patterns except for a defined period during the summer when four charter patterns are in operation. Those who elect to travel on the chartered flights must depart and return on the days and times on which the selected pattern operates. On the other hand, those who select our non-charter or customer packages may select the scheduled airline of their choice and even customize their travel dates and times, according to their preference. From time to time, the non-charter department also offers pre-set, escorted tour dates utilizing the services of scheduled airlines.

Q:Why can’t I stay at a different Las Vegas Hotel?
A:Vacations Hawaii is owned by Boyd Gaming Corporation and as such, offers customers the opportunity to purchase discounted travel packages on its chartered flights to Las Vegas with accommodations in its own hotels.
3.
Q:Why do prices sometimes fluctuate from day to day?
A:Our chartered flights are managed by a sophisticated yield-management system which automatically increases prices as more seats are sold on a particular flight.
4.
Q:Why don’t children pay less for airfare than adults?
A:Our travel packages are designed primarily for adults, 21 years and older, to enjoy the gaming opportunities that Las Vegas has to offer. We created attractive prices for those packages by discounting the cost of the hotel rooms. But everyone, including children, pays the full cost of the airfare.
5.
Q:Why don’t children receive meal coupons?
A:Meal coupons are given as a gaming incentive and therefore cannot be given to anyone under 21 years of age.
6.
Q:Why can’t I extend my stay?
A:Our travel packages were designed to suit the gaming patterns of our clients in Hawaii. By creating itineraries that fit the needs of a large population of travelers and ensuring that the airplanes are full, we are able to offer trips to Las Vegas for less. Those who want to stay longer should inquire about our Custom or non-chartered packages. These packages allow you to select your airline, include stopovers, shorten or lengthen your stay, all while saving money.
7.
