Trip Cancellation & Interruption - Subject to certain conditions, pays lost deposits and additional expenses due to Unforeseeable Events, including but not limited to, sickness, injury, or death of you, a traveling companion or immediate family member, inclement weather conditions, your home being made uninhabitable by certain natural disasters, your being subpoenaed, required to serve on jury duty, hijacked, or quarantined, being involved in or delayed due to a traffic accident en route to departure. Covers any re-booking fees if such re-booking is made at least 21 days prior to departure.
Travel Delay - Subject to certain conditions, reimburses up to the Aggregate Maximum Limit of coverage if your trip is delayed for more than 12 hours for reasonable, additional accommodation and traveling expenses until travel becomes possible.
Loss of Baggage & Travel Documents – Subject to certain conditions, reimburses up to the Maximum Aggregate Limit for loss of your luggage and personal possessions even if borrowed or rented. Generally covers loss of passports, visas and the unauthorized use of your credit cards as a result of the loss if you complied with the credit card conditions.
Personal Articles – Subject to certain conditions, reimburses up to the Maximum Aggregate Limit for the purchase of clothing and other personal items if your bags are delayed for more than 12 hours.
Other Travel-Related Expense – Subject to certain conditions, reimburses up to the Maximum Aggregate Limit for other travel-related expenses incurred due to injury or sickness suffered during your trip. Reimbursable expenses include, but are not limited to, expenses for: medical and surgical treatment by a licensed physician, professional nursing, hospital, and emergency dental services by a licensed dentist. If services provided are covered under any Workers’ Compensation, disability law or health or accident insurance policy then you will be required to assign your rights to those benefits to the Insurer, to the extent they are provided. |

PRE-EXISTING MEDICAL CONDITION EXCLUSION: There is no insurance coverage for loss or expense incurred
as the result of injury or sickness of you or your Family Member, which manifests itself during the 60 days
immediately preceding and including the effective date of your insurance coverage, unless the condition is
controlled through the taking of prescription drugs or medication and remains controlled throughout the
60-day period. A sickness has manifested itself when medical care treatment or diagnosis has been given.

Any person who knowingly and with intent to defraud any Insurance Company or other person files an application for insurance or statement of claim containing any materially false information, concerning any fact material thereto commits a fraudulent insurance act, which is a crime and subjects such a person to criminal and civil penalties.
